Chantal Anderson

I fell in love with quilting from watching my mom quilt in the early 80's.  I made my first quilt in 1987 and started quilting full time in 1999.  In 2002, I started my own home-based business, Living Quilts, where I specialize in teaching, designing, custom making, and repairing quilts.  I also provide services in hand and long-arm machine quilting.  From my home, I also run a small retail quilt shop where I sell quality quilt fabrics and supplies.  In 2003, I started teaching quilting at the Rochester Hills Museum at VanHoosen Farm, and in 2004 I started the Historical Quilter's Society.  The society specializes in the reproduction of antique quilts and community education of quilting through quilting bees, special programs, and exhibits.  I am also am active member of the Oakland County Quilt Guild of Rochester and the Cameo Quilter's Guild of Troy.
